중간지점 Jungganjijeom
As the name Jungganjijeom suggests, we are interested in exploring liminal states in the realm of visual art. The liminal states here include the possible conversations around an artist, their work, and space and the borderline between genres in visual art. We aim to put together an exhibition that seeks “a meaning in process,” rather than showcasing already completed works. Jungganjijeom is a space for young artists to exhibit experiments that will eventually expand the meaning of their practice. Jungganjijeom began in Euljiro, Seoul in 2018 with Jungganjijeom I, later expanding to Jungganjijeom II in Seochon, Seoul, which operated from 2022 to 2025. Jungganjijeom is also an artist-run collective that explores ways to expand diverse subjects in collectivity into exhibition experiences.
